Jars Jars Ka-Ching... (Still on T. Harv Eker's MMI)

No, Jars Jars Ka-Ching is NOT Jar Jar Bink's brother. I just wanna make it sound funny.

Anyway these jars are the place to put your money and then bury it in front of your house. (And I see you're making that funny face again)

From the Millionaire's Mind seminars, T Harv Eker taught us about the jars and how to use it. So what you need is six different jars (or accounts) to separate your money into and split your money into the jars.

He suggest as follows
10% goes to Financial Freedom Account(FFA). So this 10% is the place where you cannot touch it at all. When can you touch it? Never!
The FFA jar is meant to be a capital, a legacy where you can drawn the interest from it. The FFA will only function as a golden goose: to provide you with golden eggs. The more you feed it, the bigger golden eggs it will yield. Never ever touch this money except for investing it.

The next 10% goes to Long Term Spending and Saving (LTSS)
So this LTSS is for you to buy the huge plasma screen you want, your car installment, house installment, the new cell phone... those stuffs you want to buy but not necessarily need it.

The 55% goes to necessities jar. This jar will pay your bills, food, groceries and stuffs like that.

10% goes to Education jar.
This education jar doesn't mean your children education but YOUR own education. We need to improve ourselves. Take the courses, buy some books, educate yourself to keep increasing your value. Because once you stop growing you'll start dying.

10%... oh this is the best part. It goes to what we call the PLAY jar. The way to use it: Splurge it. Pay attention to yourself and appreciate your successes. The catch is, you MUST empty your play jar MONTHLY. At most QUARTERLY (or every 3 months!) Do something nice and outrageous. Do something you'll never think about. My next turn on play jar... I think I'd love to have a nice whole day package in Sentosa Island. It's at least something I've never done before... I'll stay until sundown and have cool down on the beach... sipping on some Long island tea or if they have, home made limoncello.

the rest 5% went to the GIVE jar. For some of you, (including me) feels like 10% is more appropriate to go this jar, take the remaining percentage from necessities jar.

That's it.

And oh yeah... by the way, the FFA Jar also functioned as your MONEY MAGNET! The more money you put in, the stronger the magnet will be. Try it if you don't believe it. But I'm trying it because I believe it.

Now if you need to read the book yourself, go ahead, click below. I'd love you to read it and share it.

And oh yah... I haven't tell you about the Ka-Ching. Everytime you put money in the jar... no matter which jar. Make a nice loud ka-ching sound... even when you put money into the "give" jar. (and how nice, my sony ericsson come with ka-ching ringtone... hahahaah... I love it everytime I receive a message)
