Apparently there are two kinds of duck rice in Singapore.
Roast Duck Rice and Braised Duck rice.
The way to differentiate both is very easy. Just look at the sign! So obvious huh? But if you can't read the sign, it's still very easy. Braised duck skin would be slightly wet look and light brown. While roast duck skin would seemed oily and from the look of it, crispy.
For me, I prefer the roast duck with crispy skin. A little warning though: Duck contains high level of cholesterol. It's nice. But do have it with thought to spare. Or if you insist on having a lot of duck rice, I can sell you a nice and cheap critical illness policy.
The avocado Juice however, is not the one you can find in some Indonesian restaurant here. It's kinda mixed with milk and tastes like avocado ice cream. And I can't even taste the avocado. But the shopkeeper is a very kind tomboy who calls everyone 'brother'. Need to give my thumbs up for the good service.
Anyway it's somewhere in Alexandra Village. Get a catch there. It's great. Just writing this I already dreamed of the crispy skin again... sigh.

Indonesian Grilled Chicken!!
The secrets of indonesian grilled chicken are...
The Soy sauce and the chili. But these ingredient are the complement. The true taste however, would require skill and technique that would create a great blend of flavor inside the chicken.
And harmonious medley of spices is the one that really create the "delicious" flavor from the simple meal.
Thanks to our guest star Hendra and Mrs. Ramli, (uhuyyy, Mrs. liao!) Their affirmation about the chili sauce simply remove any doubt about it. If you like it spicy and hot, here's the place.
Ayam Bakar Ojolali is located in Lucky Plaza, Singapore. 3rd Floor
One of the best ayam panggang you can get in town!

Chee... Cheong ... Fun!
For those who don't know what the title is, it's hokkien for "Ready... Get set... Go!"
Haha, no, seriously. Chee Cheong Fun is basically rice rolls. Sometimes filled with prawn or char siew (roast pork) and eaten with soy sauce. Let's call it CCF from now on.
I don't know what happen but when I paused the movie, my lips and the voice is no longer synch.
Can anyone help me how to fix this? Else I'll be look like badly dubbed Japanese guy.
Anyway it really is the best CCF I've ever had in my life! Seriously! If you ever been in Singapore and want to have a try, gimme a call. We'll go there together!

Yong Tau Foo
The movie was cut... arrrghhh... What did I pressed?
Okay, if you watch until the end, I was saying "The shop was located in the corner of - Alexandra Village, obviously"
Anyway I love it there simply because they fry the tofu. The tofu skin was crispy and the fishcake was awesome.
Combined with the sauce. Irresistible!

International Meatless Day
I'm not sure whether it's actually recognized internationally but it seemed that this Thursday, March 20 is the international meatless day and the best thing is: the Vegetarian food near my place is giving away free lunch.
Being an excellent receiver, I tried the lunch. It was great. One of the best curry I've ever taste. I should com there more often.

Mmmm, pastaaaa....
I love pasta. Especially Aglio Olio.
It's so nice, simple, tasty and healthy.
Here's one of my fave in Achorpoint.
It's not bad. I just prefer my aglio olio in form of linguini instead of spaghetti. But oh well... It's still enjoyable.
